In recent years, the rapid development of Li(NixCoyMn1-x-y)O2 (LNCM) materials for application in ternary lithium-ion batteries has led to an increased demand for refractory kiln saggars in industries. However, saggars used for firing ternary Li-ion battery cathode materials are often subjected to severe corrosion and spalling. To investigate the damage mechanism of the saggar materials, non-contact corrosion experiments were designed to study the effects of the precursor additions, calcination temperature, and number of calcinations during the interaction between mullite saggar and LNCM materials. The phase composition and microstructure of the mullite saggar specimens before and after corrosion were characterized using X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy, respectively, to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the causes of the deterioration of mullite saggar materials during corrosion. 相似文献
In this study, the separation of hydrogen from gas mixtures using a palladium membrane coupled with a vacuum environment on the permeate side was studied experimentally. The gas mixtures composed of H2, N2, and CO2 were used as the feed. Hydrogen permeation fluxes were measured with membrane operating temperature in the range of 320–380 °C, pressures on the retentate side in the range of 2–5 atm, and vacuum pressures on the permeate side in the range of 15–51 kPa. The Taguchi method was used to design the operating conditions for the experiments based on an orthogonal array. Using the measured H2 permeation fluxes from the Taguchi approach, the stepwise regression analysis was also employed for establishing the prediction models of H2 permeation flux, followed by the analysis of variance (ANOVA) to identify the significance and suitability of operating conditions. Based on both the Taguchi approach and ANOVA, the H2 permeation flux was mostly affected by the gas mixture composition, followed by the retentate side pressure, the vacuum degree, and the membrane temperature. The predicted optimal operating conditions were the gas mixture with 75% H2 and 25% N2, the membrane temperature of 320 °C, the retentate side pressure of 5 atm, and the vacuum degree of 51 kPa. Under these conditions, the H2 permeation flux was 0.185 mol s?1 m?2. A second-order normalized regression model with a relative error of less than 7% was obtained based on the measured H2 permeation flux. 相似文献
Due to stringent environmental regulations and the limited resources of fossil-based fuels, there is an urgent demand for clean and eco-friendly energy conversion devices. These criteria appear to be met by hydrogen proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs). PEMFCs have attracted tremendous attention on account of their excellent performance with tunable operability and good portability. Nonetheless, their practical applications are hugely influenced by the scarcity and high cost of platinum (Pt) used as electrocatalysts at both cathode and anode. Pt is also susceptible to easy catalyst poisoning. Herein, this paper reviews the progress of the research regarding the development of electrocatalysts practically used in hydrogen PEMFCs, where the corner-stone reactions are cathodic oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) and anodic hydrogen oxidation reaction (HOR). To reduce the costs of PEMFCs, lessening or eliminating the use of Pt is of prime importance. For current and forthcoming laboratory/large-scale PEMFCs, there is much interest in developing substitute catalysts based on cheaper materials. As such are non-platinum (non-Pt), non-platinum group metals (non-PGMs), metal oxides, and non-metal electrocatalysts. Hence, high-performance, state-of-the-art, and novel structured electrocatalysts as replacements for Pt are needed. 相似文献

The composition of polymer derived ceramics could be readily tuned through controlling the structure and element content of the polymer precursors, and investigation on the effect of the element on microstructure evolution is important to the design of advanced ceramics. In this article, the effect of carbon content in SiBCO polymer precursors was systematically investigated. The polymer network and thermal stability of polymer precursors and the carbon content of pyrolyzed SiBCO ceramic could be readily tuned by controlling the DVB amount used. Carbon contributed to the formation of graphitic carbon in SiBCxO ceramics and inhibited the growth of β–SiC and SiO2 crystals at 1600 °C, but lead to an increase in the graphitic carbon phase at 1800 °C. 相似文献
Transition metals sulfide-based nanomaterials have recently received significant attention as a promising cathode electrode for the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) due to their easily tunable electronic, chemical, and physical properties. However, the poor electrical conductivity of metal-sulfide materials impedes their practical application in energy devices. Herein, firstly nano-sized crystals of cobalt-based zeolitic-imidazolate framework (Co-ZIF) arrays were fabricated on nickel-form (NF) as the sacrificial template by a facile solution method to enhance the electrical conductivity of the electrocatalyst. Then, the Co3S4/NiS@NF heterostructured arrays were synthesized by a simple hydrothermal route. The Co-ZIFs derived Co3S4 nanosheets are grown successfully on NiS nanorods during the hydrothermal sulfurization process. The bimetallic sulfide-based Co3S4/NiS@NF-12 electrocatalyst demonstrated a very low overpotential of 119 mV at 10 mA cm?2 for OER, which is much lower than that of mono-metal sulfide NiS@NF (201 mV) and ruthenium-oxide (RuO2) on NF (440 mV) electrocatalysts. Furthermore, the Co3S4/NiS@NF-12 electrocatalyst showed high stability during cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry measurements. This research work offers an effective strategy for fabricating high-performance non-precious OER electrocatalysts. 相似文献
The effects of cellulose microfibres (CMFs, Average size: 100 ± 5 μm) and cellulose nanofibres (CNFs, Average size: 60 ± 3 nm) on the properties of myofibrillar protein (MP) gels from duck breast meat were studied. The results demonstrated that CMFs and CNFs were mostly connected to MP by non-covalent bonds, the diffusion and cross-linking of MP molecules was promoted, and a denser and more complete gel network was formed. With the increases of CMFs and CNFs concentration (0–10%), the hardness was increased by 13.15% and 19.78% for CMFs10% and CNFs10% gels, respectively, and the elasticity was increased by 40% and 80%, respectively. At the same concentration (0–10%), the increase in gel hardness, viscoelasticity and immobilised water content was greater in the CNFs-MP group than in the CMFs-MP group. The CNFs-MP group had a tighter gel network, and CNFs had a better potential to improve the gelation performance of MP. 相似文献
Sweet pickled mango named Ma-Muang Bao Chae-Im is a traditional preserved mango from Hat Yai, Thailand. This study investigated (I) volatile and non-volatile compound profiles of commercial Ma-Muang Bao Chae-Im and (II) their relationship to consumer preference. Untargeted metabolomics profiling was performed by gas chromatography-mass quadrupole-time of flight analysis. There were 117 volatile and 44 non-volatile compounds annotated in six commercial brands of Ma-Muang Bao Chae-Im. Furthermore, 46 volatile and 19 non-volatile compounds’ discriminant markers were found by Partial least square discriminant analysis. Among those markers, sorbic and benzoic acid were observed in several brands; moreover, the combination of both compounds altered the volatile profile, especially the ester group. Partial least square regression revealed that overall consumer liking is correlated to 1-heptanol; 1-octanol; acetoin; acetic acid, 2-phenylethyl ester; D-manitol; terpenes and terpenoids, while firmness to sucrose and L-(-)-sorbofuranose. On the other hand, most ester compounds were not related to consumer preference. 相似文献
To provide a basis for the selection of suitable emulsifiers in oil-in-water emulsions used as tissue analogs for MRI experiments. Three different emulsifiers were investigated with regard to their ability to stabilize tissue-like oil-in-water emulsions. Furthermore, MR signal properties of the emulsifiers themselves and influences on relaxation times and ADC values of the aqueous phase were investigated.
Materials and methods
Polysorbate 60, sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) and soy lecithin were used as emulsifiers. MR characteristics of emulsifiers were assessed in aqueous solutions and their function as a stabilizer was examined in oil-in-water emulsions of varying fat content (10, 20, 30, 40, 50%). Stability and homogeneity of the oil-in-water emulsions were evaluated with a delay of 3 h and 9 h after preparation using T1 mapping and visual control. Signal properties of the emulsifiers were investigated by 1H-MRS in aqueous emulsifier solutions. Relaxometry and diffusion weighted MRI (DWI) were performed to investigate the effect of various emulsifier concentrations on relaxation times (T1 and T2) and ADC values of aqueous solutions.
Results
Emulsions stabilized by polysorbate 60 or soy lecithin were stable and homogeneous across all tested fat fractions. In contrast, emulsions with SDS showed a significantly lower stability and homogeneity. Recorded T1 maps revealed marked creaming of oil droplets in almost all of the emulsions with SDS. The spectral analysis showed several additional signals for polysorbate and SDS. However, lecithin remained invisible in 1H-MRS. Relaxometry and DWI revealed different influences of the emulsifiers on water: Polysorbate and SDS showed only minor effects on relaxation times and ADC values of aqueous solutions, whereas lecithin showed a strong decrease in both relaxation times (r1,lecithin = 0.11 wt.%−1 s−1, r2,lecithin = 0.57 wt.%−1 s−1) and ADC value (Δ(ADC)lecithin = − 0.18 × 10–3 mm2/s⋅wt.%) with increasing concentration.
Conclusion
Lecithin is suggested as the preferred emulsifier of oil-in-water emulsions in MRI as it shows a high stabilizing ability and remains invisible in MRI experiments. In addition, lecithin is suitable as an alternative means of adjusting relaxation times and ADC values of water.
